Dick Rai is the Manager of PNC Energy Capital (“PNC”), the renewable energy financing arm of PNC Bank, one of the top five banks in the country. PNC is a premier tax equity and debt player in the renewable market with a focus on solar assets. Mr. Rai has extensive knowledge and experience in this market which allows PNC to understand and capitalize on the available, and often complicated, government, tax and other incentives in this sector.

Prior to joining PNC six years ago, Mr. Rai was President and CEO of Sanwa Bank’s commercial finance subsidiary. He has also served with Heller Financial where he was in charge of the Asset Distributions and Investments Group including all syndications, securitizations, M&A; and related capital markets activities. He has been in the financial industry for over 30 years and has an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
