Jason Kaminsky is a Vice President in Wells Fargo’s Environmental Finance group, where his primary responsibilities include originating lending and investment opportunities across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on solar tax-equity.  He also supports Wells Fargo’s existing portfolio of $900+ million in solar equity investments. His scope of activities are borne out of Wells Fargo’s Environmental Commitment, announced in 2005 and reaffirmed in 2012, which includes a focus on providing capital to environmentally-beneficial businesses and projects in several industry sectors, including renewable energy, energy efficiency and real estate.  He works closely with several Wells Fargo business groups who have a focus in these and other cleantech business sectors, including Cleantech Commercial Banking, Principal Investing and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2011, Jason worked at SPG Solar, where he supported the CEO on strategic corporate initiatives and established the company’s technology selection framework. His time in the energy sector also includes roles at Chevron and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Jason is a speaker on such topics as tax-equity financing, solar technology selection, and the water-energy nexus.

Jason received a B.S. in mathematics from UCLA and an M.S. degree in Environment and Resources from Stanford University. He also completed his M.B.A. at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
