Nancy Floyd

Nancy Floyd is Founder and Managing Director of Nth Power, the first venture capital firm to specialize in the new energy technology sector. With $420M under management, Ms. Floyd has led its investments in many companies including three listed on the NASDAQ, as well as market leaders in energy efficiency, renewable energy, advanced materials and clean transportation. Ms. Floyd is also a national figure in the energy policy debate. She has testified before Congress and has contributed in organizing several prominent conferences each year dedicated to the energy sector, including REFF. Furthermore, she was appointed to serve on the Oregon Economic and Community Development Commission. Ms. Floyd also sits on the boards of the Center for Resource Solutions and ACORE, and is an active member of E2. Ms. Floyd holds a masters degree in political science from Rutgers University where she was an Eagleton Fellow, and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College, where she is a Trustee.
