Kenneth Locklin is a senior investment executive with 30 years of finance experience, and a 20 year commitment to clean energy enterprise investment, development, management, and finance.
Mr. Locklin currently serves as the Director of Finance and Investment with the Clean Energy Group (CEG), the private organization which supports and advises clean energy investment efforts worldwide, including the Clean Energy States Alliance, the consortium of 20 US clean energy funds that is directing over $4 billion of investment and support to the US renewables industry. CEG also works with the NGO Ceres to advise the Investor Network on Climate Risk, which brings together leading pensions and institutional investors committed to pursuing low carbon investment.
Mr. Locklin simultaneously acts as the Senior Advisor to the Massachusetts Green Energy Fund, the innovative clean energy venture capital investment vehicle launched in 2004. He also advises early stage clean energy technology companies on their development and planning. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Locklin was a Partner with EIF Group, the oldest and largest power investment management firm in the U.S. Mr. Locklin worked with EIF’s Clean Energy investment interests across all its investment funds.
Mr. Locklin is a founding Co-Chair of the Finance Committee of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), the leading US renewable energy umbrella organization. He is a graduate of Yale University.
