Kirt W. Montague is the Chief Executive Officer of Prometheus Energy.  Prometheus is a global alternative and renewable fuel company specializing in the production, distribution, and sale of liquid natural gas (“LNG”) from low-cost waste and stranded sources of methane such as landfills, stranded gas wells, anaerobic digesters and coal mines.  

Prior to joining Prometheus, Mr. Montague was a founder and shareholder of Romero Montague P.S., a boutique business law firm located in Bellevue, Washington.  He spent his legal career advising companies on a variety of transactional matters, including acquisitions, sales, financing arrangements, licensing and commercial partnerships.  Mr. Montague currently serves as a member of the Board of the Washington Clean Technology Alliance, and speaks frequently on renewable energy and clean technology issues.  He received a degree in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University, and a law degree from the University of Michigan.  He previously served as a member of the Alumni Advisory Board for the Marriott School of Management, and is the immediate Past President of the Seattle Chapter of the BYU Management Society.   Mr. Montague and his wife of 27 years, Sindy, have four children and four grandchildren.  They live in Issaquah, Washington, where they have resided for the past 18 years.
