Ron will present findings from Clean Edge’s latest report, “Carbon Free Prosperity 2025: How the Northwest Can Create Jobs, Enable Energy Independence, and Be a Global Clean-Energy Leader.” The report, due out in October 2008, is a co-production of Clean Edge and Climate Solutions. The study is based on interviews with more than 50 regional leaders along with additional primary and secondary research. In his talk, Ron will discuss the report’s findings, including a look at the region’s greatest assets and barriers, the five biggest near- to mid-term opportunities for clean-energy innovation in the region, and a Ten-Point Action Plan for reaching economic and environmental prosperity.
