Dino E. Barajas

Dino E. Barajas is a member of the firm’s global project finance and corporate practice groups and focuses his practice on domestic and international project development and finance, with particular emphasis on Latin American infrastructure project financings, debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Mr. Barajas represents lenders, investors and developers in a wide range of domestic and international project financings in the energy, power, infrastructure and commercial sectors, as well as in traditional banking, structured finance, M&A, corporate finance, asset finance, joint ventures and venture capital transactions. His clients include commercial lenders, institutional investors, investment funds, project sponsors, and public and private companies. Mr. Barajas has worked on transactions in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, Yemen and elsewhere.

Mr. Barajas is currently a member of the Los Angeles office’s diversity committee.

Mr. Barajas received his J.D. in 1993 from Harvard Law School and his B.A. summa cum laude in 1990 from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was awarded the “Outstanding Graduating Senior Award” and the “Distinguished Scholar Award” and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Mr. Barajas is fluent in Spanish.

Mac Irvin

Mac Irvin is Senior Vice President and head of Hannon's San Francisco office. Mac most recently served as CFO at Sungevity, a venture-backed residential solar sales and leasing company, where he raised corporate equity, project equity and debt, and led the accounting, procurement and contract administration teams. Prior to joining Sungevity, Mac served as Managing Director of Structured Finance and Business Development at Sunpower, where he was responsible for funding the company’s residential, commercial and utility scale projects. Prior to Sunpower, Mac served as CFO for BPL Global, as Managing Director with GATX Capital, and as Regional General Manager with RailTex, Inc., a three-time Inc. 500 company. Mac holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin.

Dick Rai

Manager, PNC Energy Capital



Dick Rai is the Manager of PNC Energy Capital (“PNC”), the renewable energy financing arm of PNC Bank, one of the top five banks in the country. PNC is a premier tax equity and debt player in the renewable market with a focus on solar assets. Mr. Rai has extensive knowledge and experience in this market which allows PNC to understand and capitalize on the available, and often complicated, government, tax and other incentives in this sector.

Prior to joining PNC six years ago, Mr. Rai was President and CEO of Sanwa Bank’s commercial finance subsidiary. He has also served with Heller Financial where he was in charge of the Asset Distributions and Investments Group including all syndications, securitizations, M&A and related capital markets activities. He has been in the financial industry for over 30 years and has an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
