Robert Griffin, SES, has more than 34 years of public service and was selected to the Navy's Senior Executive Service in July of 2000. He is the Director of the Renewable Energy Program Office, tasked with overall planning, coordination and integration of renewable energy projects to meet Secretary Mabus' goal of 1 GW of renewable energy by 2020. Previously, he was the Assistant Commander of Acquisition for NAVFAC responsible for oversight for the Command's $10 billion contract program, managing a workforce of more than 950 contract specialist's world-wide. Prior to assuming the role as the Director of Acquisition, Mr. Griffin served as the Director of Public Private Venture Programs at NAVFACENGCOM, Director of the Contracts Management Division at NAVFACENGCOM and Director of the Environmental/Service Contracts Division at the Western Division of NAVFACENGCOM. He has received the President's Meritorious Executive Service Award (2004), Department of the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award (1998) and the Meritorious Civilian Service Award (1996).

Brian Tarmey

Brian Tarmey is a Vice President of Delphos International, an independent financial advisory firm that specializes in structuring and raising financing for infrastructure projects in emerging markets. Brian joined the firm in 2007 and brings extensive experience in energy financings having worked on hydropower, wind, solar, biomass, gas and geothermal financings. His recent work includes advising on a $150 million loan from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) for hybrid solar solutions in India, the Government of Cameroon on a 75 MW hydropower facility, the State Energy Commission of Baja California, Mexico on a 50 MW wind farm, and the Government of Ghana on a 330 km 161 kV transmission line. In addition to his experience in the energy sector, he has advised clients in the manufacturing, telecom, agribusiness, retail and hospitality sectors in Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to joining Delphos International, he worked at AV Concept Holdings Limited, a publicly traded technology firm in Hong Kong, and at OPIC. Brian holds an MA in International Economic Affairs from George Washington University and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.

Nisha Desai

Nisha Desai is responsible for the strategy, origination, and development activities for NRG Distributed Generation. As Vice President, she heads a team of project development and engineering professionals that identify and create resilient, sustainable on-site energy solutions for commercial, industrial and institutional clients. Prior to NRG, Nisha had a number of leadership roles in energy and water industries, with a significant focus on business model and technical innovation. Her development expertise includes solar power, water infrastructure energy, storage and fuel cells – as well as more conventional cogeneration. Nisha has served several years as a management consultant with Booz & Company’s energy practice and has held finance and business development roles with Enron and Mobil. She holds an economics degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was an American Association of University Women Selected Professions Fellow
