Kerri L. Fox heads BBVA’s North American Structured Finance Team, which is based in New York. In this capacity, Kerri focuses on the origination, structuring and execution of project and other structured financings in the U.S. and Canada, across a variety of industry spaces including renewable power, thermal power, oil & gas, LNG and public- private-partnerships (transportation and social infrastructure). Kerri has more than 15 years of project and structured finance experience, and has worked closely with clients as both a financial advisor and bookrunner / lead arranger.

Prior to joining BBVA in March 2009, Kerri was responsible for the Global Export and Project Finance business of Fortis from New York. She also previously covered integrated energy and natural resource clients as part of Deutsche Bank’s Project and Structured Finance team, and began her career as a project finance lawyer at Milbank Tweed.

Kerri’s transactional experience includes: Bookrunner / Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for the Fowler wind farm project in the US; Bookrunner / Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for the GNL Quintero regasification project in Chile; Bookrunner / Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for the AES Ventanas power project in Chile; Bookrunner / Lead Arranger and Syndication Agent for the Suez CTA power project in Chile; Bookrunner / Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for the Northwest Anthony Henday and Calgary Ring Road Projects in Canada; Bookrunner / Lead Arranger and Documentation Agent for the Port of Miami Tunnel Project in the US; Financial Advisor for Marathon’s Baja LNG project; and Financial Advisor to PetroChina in connection with partner selection for the West-East Gas pipeline project.

Kerri speaks French and Russian (and is studying Spanish), and holds an A.B. from Brown University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
